The pitches
29 camping pitches of which 3 comfort pitches are equipped with their private bathroom cabin (bathroom, washing-up area, WC).
With an area of 80m² to more than 150m², the pitches are spread over 3 plateaus and naturally delimited by vegetation and stone walls.

- The Castor Tent is designed for a back-to-nature holiday for 2 people, complete with ready-to-camp equipment.

A nature campsite just 3 km from Les Vans
Located in Gravières, just 3 km from Les Vans, Camping La Châtaigneraie offers a peaceful, shaded setting from which to discover southern Ardèche. Its 40 pitches are set beneath mature chestnut trees, in unspoilt surroundings within the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Natural Park.
Choose from our 29 spacious camping pitches, with or without private sanitary facilities, or stay in one of our 11 rental accommodations: cabins, lodge tents, a tipi, the Castor tent and a mobile home. Our small-scale campsite is all about peace, a friendly atmosphere and a warm, personal welcome.
A pleasant walk of around 10 minutes takes you from the campsite to the river and its natural swimming spots. Les Vans, with its shops, restaurants and markets, is only 3 km away. The campsite is therefore an ideal base for exploring the Chassezac, the Bois de Païolive, the villages of southern Ardèche and the trails of the Ardèche Cévennes.
